Accessibility & AI · Co-founder of Alé

I turn complex services into simple, accessible products. With a soft spot for AI and a hard rule on contrast.

    Pierpaolo, IT Delivery Lead
  • A proactive force who innovated our core design framework for the future.
    Renato, Lead Designer

I follow products from the first workshop to the last handoff.

On big products I don't stop at the screens: functional analysis, flows, UI, and the developers' questions on a Friday afternoon.

Insurance · End-to-end · Ownership Joined to execute. Ended up owning the design. An insurance platform where I became the only design reference, from functional analysis to developer handoff. Open the case

I make accessibility the first step, not the last fix.

I'm CPACC-certified. I review the accessibility strategy, build it into the components and explain the why to the people who write the code. On real projects, it looks like this.

Accessibility that sticks 300+ defects kept coming back, so we stopped chasing bugs and changed the process. Then we measured it: two touchpoints now pass every criterion. Compliance went from 50% to 85%. Read the case

Plot twist: I'm also a climber, and a co-founder

I love climbing. I'm just not very good at it. So I took it to the one place where I know what I'm doing: design. Alé is an app for climbers, built by four of us in the evenings and at weekends. I lead the product design.

What I build and explore with AI.

  • News, the Monday paper an agent prepares for me: masthead, an October calendar and a half-solved sudoku, on dark green leaves. The articles are blurred.

    My AI agents team

Three small agents do my weekly admin every Monday. They never send or publish anything without my OK.

    Accessible PDFs, with AI

PDFs are everywhere and almost never accessible. Can AI make them readable for everyone, screen readers included?

  • Studio Dentistico Pieri homepage: three dentists smiling, the title "Il dentista di famiglia a Genova, dal 1992" and a "Prenota una visita" button.
